New opportunities for '20

It's always a time for reflection and change as the new year sweeps in and never more so as we figuratively move into a new decade and the 2020's commence.
Make sure you join us at the regional forum at the Clare Town Hall, which is a partnership between Legatus, Northern and Yorke Natural Resource Management Board and RDA Yorke and Mid North.
The theme Resilient Towns and Resilient Lives reflects the way in which as a serious of national and international speakers contemplate what the region might look like in ten years and we invite you to register for this free event being held on March 27, 2020 at https://www.yorkeandmidnorth.com.au/event/2020-yorke-and-mid-north-regional-forum-resilient-towns-resilient-lives/.
We are very excited also this month to welcome back Mim Ward as our full time Tourism Development Management.
We will be focused on the future of the luxury accommodation, the new Digital Audit where we have 55 businesses who will receive a tailored report on their tourism related profile and we will be able to provide a regional to the Clare Valley Regional Tourism areas.
In addition we are about to launch a new program Activate Mid North which will be available across the Regional Council of Goyder, Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council, Wakefield Regional Council and Northern Areas Council.
The program provides Individualised mentoring and business support, networking with existing business and trader groups, and the support of the RDA network will work together to foster an encouraging and supportive environment in which these emerging small business owners can test their models, products and ideas.
Included in the program is an opportunity to open pop up shops in the region through subsidisation so if you are starting or about to start a business.
Make sure that you contact our offices on 1300 742 414 and register your interest in either the Digital Audit or Activate Mid North project.
