Kapunda Community Gallery was first opened in 1989, so the opening of the Summer Exhibition 2019 is a significant event, celebrating its 30th anniversary.
This year's annual Summer Exhibition will open on Sunday, December 8.
It is always a popular exhibition as it is open to members and non members, and the subject and media are open.
With the variety of subjects and media and the high standard of work there is something for all viewers to enjoy and find of interest.
The works are by artists from the Light Region, the Barossa, Adelaide and other parts of South Australia.
The prizes to be awarded are: Bruce Fitzpatrick Memorial prize for Best in Show, Second and Third prizes. Merits will be awarded according to the judge's discretion.
There is a Peoples Choice award to be presented at the close of the exhibition, so visitors to the gallery are invited to vote for their favourite work in the exhibition Kapunda Community Gallery is located on the corner of Main and Brown Streets, Kapunda.
It now has access for wheel chairs. It is open weekdays from 10am to 4pm and weekends and public holidays from 10am to 3.30pm. Admission is free.
