Two mid-north locals are back in the blue again for another go-around with the Adelaide Strikers.
Ahead of the Women's Big Bash League season, team stalwart Tegan McPharlin put pen to paper on a new one-year deal last week.
She was announced alongside Alex Price and Annie O'Neil as a returning trio.
Wicketkeeper and former captain McPharlin would be joined by Clare's Ellie Falconer in the Strikers team.
McPharlin, who hailed from Balaklava, had played 46 games in blue since the competition's inception in 2015.
She has taken 36 dismissals behind the stumps for her hometown team.
Strikers head coach Luke Williams praised the decision to bring back McPharlin for another season.
"Tegan had one of the best seasons last year in WBBL and was solid as always behind the stumps, taking every opportunity," said the first year coach.
"She played some really important innings through the middle and later order so it's fantastic to have her back again. Being a former captain of the team, it will be great to have her leadership back in the group."
Falconer has yet to debut for the Strikers but is rated highly by the team.
This year would be her third on the books after earning her first WBBL contract ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Previously she trained with the team as part of the Community Rookie program.
The emerging quick made her debut for the Adelaide Scorpions last season and picked up 17 scalps for West Torrens in the Statewide Super First Grade competition.
