This year's feast of Saint Mary Mackillop was of extra significance for St. Joseph's School Clare.
The day also coincided with anniversary celebrations as the school recognised an 150 year old link to the Sisters of Saint Joseph.
Past and present staff members came together last Thursday to mark the occasion.
Three former Principals were in attendance alongside current Principal Peter Shearer, while former Sisters also paid a visit.
A mass was held at St. Michael's Church to celebrate and give thanks for the work of the Josephite Sisters and St. Mary Mackillop.
Student leaders also gave a guided tour of the campus ahead of the mass, which allowed former staff members to see how the school has evolved.
Earlier in the day, students displayed the spirit of St. Mary Mackillop through her call to never see a need without doing something about it.
Local businesses were thanked for their work in the community with biscuits, while other students sang to residents at Kara House.
