AM UNITED (2) vs CDHA UNITED (1): Overcast weather was on offer at Stockwell for the Under 16's game between the two ladder leaders AM United and CDHA United.
Within minutes of the start CDHA won a short corner, which was converted with ease by Nick Lawrie.
Soon after AMU had a chance to reply but a poor injection led to Harrison Williams being able to clear the ball before it could leave the circle.
The first quarter ended with the score at 1-0.
The second quarter started with a quick attack from AMU which was well defended by CDHA. The game went into the half time break one goal apiece. The second half started with numerous attacks from both teams until a short to AMU led to them putting the ball in to the back of the goal for their second.
AMU kept up the pressure with multiple drives at goal but great keeping by Trinity Beverdam meant no further conversions. End of third quarter score: 2-1 AMU's way.
The final quarter started as the previous had finished with multiple attacks by AMU, but without further scores. The game finished in a 2-1 win to AMU United, their score kept small by CDHA's goalkeeper Trinity Beverdam racking up a total of 19 involvements.
