Interesting scores

As the final siren went on Saturday throughout the football ovals, there was a range of interesting wins and losses.

Following a week of rest teams took to the field for the sixth last minor-round games for 2019.

BSR's A grade side fought back after a loss against Blyth/Snowtown on July 6 and took MinMan down 22.14-146 to 2.6-18.

Played at Spalding, S Wilsdon took five goals for the match, while J Sargent kicked four. MinMan's Isaac Shearer and Chris Hallion both kicked a goal each for the side.

At Blyth, fifth placed North Clare Roosters got up over top spot Blyth/Snowtown in what was a close battle - final scores 7.7-49 for the Cats and 8.10-58.

Goal kickers included D Hill and T Francis for North and D Giles and H Viney for Blyth/Snowtown.

It was three v four at Clare on Saturday, and a home ground game saw South Clare come out strong, taking the win over RSMU.

Final scores were 14.14-98 for the third-placed Demons to 7.8-50 for the Hawks. Another home ground advantage at Eudunda saw Southern Saints win against the BBH Rams.

Saints just took the edge over their BBH opponents with a 17-point win - final scores: 13.9-87 to 10.10-70.
