About 38mm fell in Farrell Flat overnight last Tuesday as widespread heavy rains were predicted.

Last week's forecast downpour throughout the Mid North and Clare Valley brought with it the expected drops.

Overnight on Tuesday, and into Wednesday morning, many areas received ongoing heavy rain during the night and into the early hours.

Scattered rain then continued throughout the rest of the week, before a sunny weekend.

Totals throughout the region included, up to 9am on Sunday June 16 from the Bureau of Meteorology (in mm):

Auburn 45, Blyth 48, Booborowie 34, Brinkworth 50, Clare 51, Crystal Brook 40, Farrell Flat 38, Georgetown 49, Gulnare 43, Jamestown 35.

Koolunga and Port Broughton both received more than 50mm of rain.

Townships in Regional Council of Goyder also received a good soaking with some areas receiving the most rain they've had in many months.

Burra received 28mm, Hallett 30, Mt Bryan 26, Eudunda 22 and Robertstown 19.
