Join the Mitchell family on Saturday, May 18, when they will create an all Italian affair, with live music, Italian food and Mitchell wine on the cellar door lawns to mark 35 years of Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend.
Mitchell Wines has been involved in Gourmet Weekend since the very beginning, and this is the first time Mitchell Wines will join forces with Andre's Cucina + Polenta Bar.
Together, they plan to treat guests to a combination of delicious food and wine, in what Andre's has badged 'Mangia, Mangia!'
Andre's, an Adelaide institution for Italian food, will be serving traditional Italian street food, including bruschetteria with cheese hung over hot coals, then melted across charred sourdough and covered with a variety of small goods and housemade pickles.
Mitchell wines can be purchased by both the glass and bottle on the day, and the cellar door will be open for tastings for those who wish to delve a little deeper.

Andrew and Jane Mitchell took over the Mitchell family farm in 1975, establishing Mitchell Wines and furthering Andrew's father's legacy.
Under their watch, Mitchell Wines has grown to encompass 70 hectares under vine, a winery, and a bottling facility.
Andrew and Jane's three children, Hilary, Angus and Edwina have joined their parents on the property and they are excited about what the future holds.
This is an opportunity to experience Mitchell Wines in a fun environment with acoustic music, lawn games, picnic rugs and pallet seating.
Doors open at 9am.
