Clare Camera Club's best announced
As is usual, Clare Camera Cub started its year with the Photograph of the Year (2018) judging.
Visiting judge Chris Carter quickly whittled the 262 candidates down to a manageable number of about 50.
Progress was a bit slower then as he discussed the merits of these entries and gradually eliminated them.
The final four took some consideration before the final winner was decided.
Ian Trengove was the author of both the top and the runner up.
Chris then had to judge the top flower photo. Lynne Robinson took this award and Julie Budarick was runner up.
The next meeting is on Friday, March 1, 8pm at Clare Uniting Church, will be a practical night on Macro photography.
Members will bring their cameras and something small to photograph.
Enquiries to Dianne Stevenson 8842 3872.
