Valleys Lifestyle Centre in Clare has been announced as a Council/Licensed Fitness Centre of the Year Finalist in the 2019 Australian Fitness Awards.

Valleys manager Ben Whalan said through vision and new energy, the centre had created a community hub. 

“...by delivering valued services and programming, best utilising the multiple amenities available at the much-loved centre,” Mr Whalan said. 

Fitness Australia, the national peak industry association, chief executive officer Barrie Elvish, said the Australian Fitness Awards provided an opportunity for businesses and individuals to be acknowledged for their contribution to the industry and the impact they have in their communities.

“The achievements of our 2019 finalists demonstrate their commitment and pride in supporting members to lead an active and healthy lifestyle for better health,” Mr Elvish said. 

The 2019 Australian Fitness Awards include 10 awards categories, covering emerging exercise professionals, individuals delivering exercise, businesses providing fitness services and community exercise programs.
