Rebecca Shegog grew up to a soundtrack of Elvis, but never thought the King would arrive in Mount Beauty.
“My parents played the records all the time, my younger brother and I would dress up like Elvis,” she said.
“It’s music that gets into your soul, it resonates with you, not even in words, just in a feeling.”
That feeling will be recreated by award-winning Elvis impersonator Marcus Jackson at the West Peak Hotel on Saturday.
“He sounds amazing,” Ms Shegog said of Mr Jackson.
“I thought it really was Elvis so I’m looking forward to seeing what he does.”
The night will also feature a silent auction to raise money for the Need for Feed.
Tickets are available at the door but residents are asked asked to pre-purchase tickets from TryBooking to avoid congestion.
