Woolworths Clare unveiled a new look format for the store on Thursday after undergoing a face lift.

Among the key changes as part of the renewal at Woolworths Clare, customers can expect to find a fresh new look across the entire store, featuring a new shop layout.

This includes a self-serve checkout, bigger fruit and veg section and an increased range to create a more enjoyable shopping experience for customers.

Woolworths Clare Store Manager Luke Howard said the upgrades were made with the customer in mind.

“Our store has been designed with the customer at heart following a great deal of time spent understanding what local shoppers are looking for,” Mr Howard said.

“Our aim is to always provide great quality, value and fresh options for all our customers and to make meal shopping and preparation easier. As a result of the renewal, our local customers can look forward to a transformed, modern and contemporary shopping experience.

“With 100 percent of our fresh meat and 96 percent of our fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from Australia, the new look store has been designed to also showcase the wonderful seasonality of our produce and provide further food inspiration for our customers.”

The site first opened in the 1980s as a Foodland Plus before Woolworths moved in about 15 years ago.

The Fresh Fair and face painting will continue on Friday the 5th of October between 10am and 2pm, at Woolworths Clare.

Woolworths Clare is open 8am – 8pm seven days a week, and is located on the Corner of Old North Road and Wright Street.
