Luke Dunstan could be set for a move away from Moorabbin Oval when the AFL trade period opens on Friday.

Currently on the books at St Kilda, the club who drafted him in 2013, rumours have swirled over the past few weeks that his future could lie away from the Saints.

Wooden spooners Carlton have been touted as a possible destination for the 23 year-old, however his management have shot that idea down in the lead up to the silly season.

Dunstan’s agent Robbie D’Orazio told AFL Trade Radio on Tuesday that his client was not going anywhere.

“Someone asked me before whether Luke Dunstan was up for trade and that is news to me,” he said.

“Luke will be excited to get back in there, he is wearing the number 7 for a reason. I think they gave it to him off the back of Lenny (Hayes) retiring because he is a leader and a strong character.

“He will work his way through a little bit of a form slump.”

Dunstan manged to pull on the Saints guernsey 16 times this season.
