NEFL Preliminary Final at Burra

It will be first versus second in the North Eastern Grand Final after Blyth-Snowtown defeated R.S.M.U in the preliminary final at Burra Oval on Saturday.

The game was all but done and dusted at the end of the first quarter as the Cats raced out to a 3.3 (21) to 1.0 (6) and never looked back.

At full time, Blyth-Snowtown moved on to the big dance with a 31 point triumph.

The final score was 12.12 (84) to 8.5 (53).

Blyth-Snowtown will now meet minor premiers B.S.R in the Grand Final, held at Clare Oval this weekend.

Ryan Darling kicked four for the Cats, while Shay Clifford and Matthew Hartwig kicked a pair each.

For the Hawks, Craig Mullins was the only multiple goal kicker with two.

Northern Argus photographer Brendan Simpkins was in attendance at Burra to capture the contest.
