Man trapped after serious Snowtown crash

A 25-year-old man from Snowtown is in a serious condition with head and spinal injuries after his car hit a stobie pole in Snowtown on Monday night.

Just before midnight, police and emergency services were called to Railway Terrace in Snowtown after a Ford utility hit a stobie pole and brought down power lines. 

The man was trapped in the car for an hour with live wires around the vehicle until the power was disconnected and the man could be treated. 

He was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and non-life threatening injuries.
