Kilikanoon Wines celebrated 20 years of premium winemaking by Kevin Mitchell last month.

Winemaker Kevin Mitchell spoke about the origins of Kilikanoon, from its humble beginnings to being named Australian Winery of the Year across various publications.

“We’ve come a long way since we started right here [the cellar door] with the family,” he said.

“It has been a long road, and I can’t thank everyone enough. We’ve had a lot of luck, but would not be here without our friends, supporters, and family.”.

Guests were treated to a four course dinner by Seed Winehouse + Kitchen matched with back and current vintages of Kilikanoon’s original quartet of wines.

Music by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra played between courses enriched the wine, food, and comradery of the evening.

Nathan Waks, former Principal Cellist, surprised guests with a touching solo performance, before joining the affectionately named ‘Attunga Quartet’ to form a rare quintet of power and elegance.

Kilikanoon Wines thanks its supporters and friends and is looking forward to another 20 years.
