Rescue dogs in Burra have been granted a comfortable and fun play space with the donation of some fake roll out turf.
Thanks to SA-based Australian Outdoor Living they have donated 22.5sqm of its Fairway range of Artificial Lawn (two rolls at 3.75m x 3m each).
The Burra branch of not-for-profit SA Dog Rescue recently put a call-out via its Facebook page for artificial lawn in its yards to create a more comfortable living environment for its rescue dogs.
Australian Outdoor Living sales manager Troy Biber, who coordinated the donation, said as soon as the company spotted the call-out on SA Dog Rescue’s Facebook page, they wanted to help.
“At Australian Outdoor Living, our philosophy is all about loving life outdoors,” Mr Biber said.
“Not only do we help families in South Australia and across the country to create their dream backyards so they can enjoy life outdoors, but we are also strong supporters of our local community and like to help out when we can.”
The turf was delivered by AOL’s lawn installation manager Mick Morris and will be used in two separate areas.
Mr Morris said he was thrilled to deliver the artificial lawn.
“We are very happy to be able to donate a high quality range of lawn that will help make the lives of rescue pups more comfortable,” Mr Morris said.
