Social tennis in Clare will be back again under an all new format for the summer season.
The games will include three 30 minute rounds of doubles tennis with three different partners against three different opponents.
Teams will be assigned depending on who turns up on the night which means you can play with or against your friends, and meet new people out on the courts.
New social tennis Co-ordinator Garrett Ryan has promised “A night of tennis based fun and frivolity”.
“We have completely revamped the format, there’s no obligation, just turn up on the nights that suit you and we’ll find someone for you to play doubles with, bring your friend and play with them,” he said.
“We will have music playing and we have some fantastic Clare Valley Wines to give away for lucky and occasionally for skilled, players.”
The scoring system works by single point accumulation, which means the faster paced the game is the more points are likely to be won.
Five serves will be played per person before ends are switched.
It will only cost you $5 to be involved and registration will begin at 6:50PM every Thursday night for a 7PM start. The games will run until 9PM.
The first night of tennis will begin on October 26 at the Clare tennis courts.
