Thanks to the help of the community, a man has been identified and arrested following a theft from a Clare chemist. 

A Clare man, 23, was arrested on November 6 for the theft of fragrances valued at $285.

Clare Police issued several expiation notices this week including two for the use of mobile phone while driving, two people for speeding and one for following too close. Two more were fined for not paying for fuel.

A road rage incident on Tuesday, November 7, occurred on Main North Road between two vehicles. 

It continued on Daly Street and Agnes Street. A police chase ensued and an adult male from Clare was arrested for manner driving dangerously. The vehicle was impounded.

Operation Belt Up: a seatbelt targeted operation, began on November 11 and will run until November 19.

The expiation for a driver who fails to wear seatbelt properly adjusted and fastened is $355 and three demerit points.
