RSL volunteer Frank Reed finishes after 10 years

After 10 years selling badges at Saddleworth and many other areas Friday marked a sad occasion for Frank Reed who has decided to retire from active volunteering.

Mr Reed and his wife Claire have volunteered selling various badges for the RSL for Anzac, Legacy and Remembrance Day.

Frank has also been a RSL member for 20 years.

Saddleworth didn’t host a Remembrance Day service this year, members of the public were instead encouraged to visit Riverton, or other outlying towns, to commemorate.

Throughout his time volunteering and selling badges, Mr Reed has sold hundreds and raised vital funds for the various charity groups.

If you are an RSL member and you might like to assist with selling badges, give you’re local branch a call.
