Blyth Bowling Club Inc receives Office for Recreation and Sport

Blyth Bowling Club Inc has been assisted with grant funding to repair the base of their synthetic green.

The club, based just near the entrance of the town, has been awarded an Office for Recreation and Sport Round 43 Active Club Program Grant for the sum of $25,000. 

Members of the club were presented with their cheque from Member for Frome Geoff Brock on Sunday, November 5. 

The Active Club Program helps active recreation and sports clubs with:

program and equipment (up to $5,000)

facility upgrade requests up to $25,000.

It has two funding rounds per year:

1. facility requests and program and equipment (Round 43),

2. program and equipment requests only (Round 44).

Eligible organisations

Incorporated sport or active recreation clubs that do not have a gaming machine licence.
