A wool pack fashion parade was one of many highlights for the 140th annual Burra Show.

Contestants in the competition showed off their handiwork – all ages were included – and there were some unique and clever ways in which the packs were upcycled.

The catwalk was aflush with different combinations of colour, design and even baling twine.

Visitors to the show were treated to a warm day with plenty on offer for all to enjoy.

Pavilions were well supported with entries from people throughout the region in photography, art, cooking and decorating.

Outside, the shearing took centrestage during the day as the competition heated up between the men and women.

Side shows, magician entertainment, the young farmers challenge, vintage car display and a ute muster all contributed to the atmosphere.

Hundreds enjoyed what the show had to offer and some took home a prize or two for their efforts.
