Auburn Institute Market ceased operation on August 20, 2017 due to work required to replace and repair the ceiling and roof at the Auburn Institute.

However, in true community spirit, the market will go on.

Instead, an independently run market, Auburn SA Third Sunday Market, will be held on the third Sunday of every month, starting this Sunday.

The market will be held at the Uniting Church Hall, Main North Rd, Auburn, from 9am-1pm on Sunday, September 17.

It will continue to show off a wide range of locally made products and allows regulars to stock up on their much-loved items.

It gives visitors and locals the opportunity to buy local from the series of markets run every weekend throughout the Clare and Gilbert Valley.

At this Sunday‚Äôs market you can expect a variety of stalls including homemade foods from Paul Ion, Rita Trimboli will have her range of marinated goods, Tara Barnacle Watts will have her Quercus skin products and Llewena Newell with her handmade hats and silk.

A facebook page has been created for the market if you wish to refer to this, and messages for market information can be left there, search Auburn SA Third Sunday Market.
