Clare police took part in the statewide Operation Stop Drink/Drug Driving over the weekend.
During the operation 43 tests were conducted, with no arrests made in the Clare region.
In the Mid North, 436 tests were put to drivers in the area.
Last week, police reported a 46-year-old man for a theft from the Woolworths store in Clare.
Police have also issued a number of expiation notices this week.
One driver received a fine for an unregistered vehicle, another for an expired licence, one for crossing double yellow lines and also a fine for following too close in a vehicle.
There were four fines for speeding and another eight for faulty lighting.
Another major issue which has been a cause of concern is the number of vehicles which have been keyed in the Clare area this month.
The culprits have been doing the deed in daylight hours to vehicles which are parked on public roads.
