A total of 15 students from St Joseph's School, members of the Sevenhill Catholic Parish, celebrated the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation at the end of June.

While Archbishop Philip Wilson was unable to attend the day, they were fortunate to have the Dean of the Northern Deanery, Rev Father Mark Sexton officiate at the ceremony.

Fr Mark spoke to the children about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and encouraged the children to think about the particular gifts they could use to help others in their daily life.
