‘Soulscape’ Exhibition coming to the Clare Valley Wine, Food and Tourism Centre for SALA.

The Clare Valley Wine, Food and Tourism Centre is excited to have local artist Lou White exhibiting for their South Australian Living Artists (SALA) exhibition.

Lou’s exhibition ‘Soulscape’ will be displayed in the Centre from August 1-31, 2017, with the official opening on Thursday, August 3, at 6.30pm, at the Centre – all welcome.

Based in the Clare Valley, Lou White’s artwork predominantly focuses on semi-abstract portraiture and floral life, utilising mixed media to portray a richly diverse subject matter, in a variety of styles, to create an interesting and varied body of work, seeking to evoke emotions and memories in the viewer.

A self-taught artist, she was recently awarded the ‘Packing Room Prize’ for the 2017 Clare Valley Portrait Prize and in 2016 won the Portrait Prize’s 'Overall Winner'.

Lou has participated in several group exhibitions, with her work found in many private collections.
