The new look Burra Vintage and Antique Fair will take place on May 6 and 7 with a focus on all things retro and rustic.
Burra will play host to dealers from across South Australia and Victoria, and with over forty stalls to look at there will be something for everyone.
Stalls will be located in the Town Hall and school gym, and there will be many other things to see and do for visitors to Burra.
The fair will include market stalls and buskers in Market Square, and a display by Whyalla Vintage and Classic Car Club on the school oval.
On top of this, there will be a display by the South Australian branch of the Australasian Telephone Collectors Society in St Mary's Church Hall.
In past years the Burra Vintage and Antique Fair has attracted hundreds of visitors, and this year is set to be bigger and better.
With stallholders offering jewelry, glassware, toys, furniture, ceramics and fine porcelain, visitors to the town will need to stay the entire weekend to take it all in.
The whole town garage sale on the Saturday and the Trash and Treasure Auction at the Burra Golf Club on the Sunday morning will also keep visitors busy.
Television and radio personality Amanda Blair will open the fair at 11am on the Saturday, and will bring Australia’s first op shop bus, Dulcie's Shop of Real Opportunity, to Burra.
The shop is full of vintage delights, and the wares go towards helping the homeless and marginalised of Adelaide.
After visitors have enjoyed all the Antique Fair has to offer, they can stop in at any of Burra's excellent restaurants and cafes.
Visitors can also take a look around the historic Market Square shops, check out the town's antique stores or obtain a pass to the heritage trail from the Visitor Information Centre.
Entry to the fair will be just $8 per day, and Paul Bartlett will be on hand to appraise your treasures in the Town Hall at a very reasonable price.
The Burra Regional Art Gallery is a must visit for everyone and offers a great array of contemporary and fine art.
On top of this, the beautifully renovated historic Burra Railway Station will be open over the weekend.
