A strong group of 26 members from Clare Primary School’s Choir performed in the Festival of Music at the Festival Theatre in Adelaide, on September 15.
Amber Douglass took on the challenge of performing a solo part and performed brilliantly in front of a packed house.
The evening was a great experience for the students to sing as a part of a 450 voice choir.
Prior to the final performace, the students attended a three-hour practice in the morning before visiting Government and Parliament House (Adelaide).
Students were welcomed by His Excellency Governor Hieu Van Le and Mrs Le and shown around the downstairs part of the house.
This followed an offer by His Excellency after his visit to the school earlier in the month.
Mrs Jan Borlace organised the choir’s involvement in the Festival of Music and she was thanked for her efforts, along with those of the parents who assisted with transporting students down to Adelaide.
