Drink driver reported

A Snowtown woman, 83, has been reported for drink driving and speeding after she was stopped at Snowtown on Saturday afternoon.

Just before 3pm, September 17, police detected a car travelling on Condowie Plain Road at 121km per  hour in a 100km zone.

They subsequently stopped the car and the female driver  was breath tested.  The woman allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of  0.104. She lost her licence for six months and will appear in Port Pirie Magistrates court. 

Second male identified

As reported during the past two weeks, a tractor was taken for a joy ride in a paddock in Auburn.

A second young man from Burra was identified by police as a participant  and reported for illegal use of the tractor. The identity of the offenders was determined as a result of a portable camera installed on the premises after the first occasion.

Drug offences: A Clare man, 18, was arrested for trafficking cannabis on Wednesday.  A search of the premises located 230 grams of cannabis and was conducted as a result of information from the public.  Police encourage anybody with information of illicit drug dealing to contact them.
