Community to the rescue

03 Mar, 2010 10:04 AM
On the evening of February 16, 2010 a runaway tanker truck careened down the hill above our property. It crossed William St, through a neighbouring property through our southern fence and out our northern fence, coming to rest in the kitchen of a Victoria Grove residence.

There was substantial property damage, but fortunately no one was injured.

The community came to our rescue magnificently and we wish to express our gratitude to:

1 MAIT Plumbers; 2 CFS; 3 SES, 4 SC Heinrich & Sons; 5 Clare Police; 6 Clare Ambulance.

The community spirit is alive and well.
