I commend the effort of Mr Donald Willson in his quest to have the fire siren in Clare reinstate a per the article in last week’s Northern Argus. Since the removal of the siren I have felt that we lost what was, and should be, an important part of community awareness of fire in the area.
I commend the Council and the Northern Argus for their involvement of the project and would be prepared to financially support the reinstatement.
