Crows visit Jamestown fans

6/08/2008 11:44:00 AM
Junior footballers and Crows fans in the Jamestown area were treated to a visit from Nathan Van Berlo and rookie Myke Cook last week, courtesy of Kelly Toyota.

The visit, made possible by Toyota Rural Dealers Sponsorship of the Adelaide Crows, included an opportunity for junior footballers in the region to have a kick and catch with the two Crows players.

Nathan and Myke then had a motivational chat with the senior colts before heading inside the Jamestown-Peterborough clubrooms, where they were interviewed by Jamestown- Peterborough A Grader Darren Woolford.

The Crows players spoke about growing up with a love of football, their family support, and the need to eat well and drink lots of water.

Nathan and Myke then presented some awards for winners of a handball and longest accurate kicking competition before signing autographs for the many passionate young fans.
