Stanley nurtures junior cricket talent at inaugural academy

Twentysix young cricketers braved the warm weather for the Stanley Cricket Association’s inaugural junior academy at Clare High School Oval on Monday.

The academy was the initiative of association president Scooter Smith and was organised by Greg Size to help develop skills and select assocition sides.

Coaches included South Australian Cricket Association Mid North and Upper North cricket officer Stewart Smith, who plays A grade for East Torrens, and Kensington A grade player Sam Willis.
