Power players find plenty of friends at Riverton

14 May, 2008 10:55 AM
Riverton Saddleworth Marrabel United Football Club was visited by Port Power players Brett Ebert and Jacob Surjan during Saturday’s home game against Min-Man.

The visit was part of Community Football Weekend which was an initiative of the AFL to include their entire football community in celebrating 150 years of Australian Football.

More than 630,000 people played Australian football in 2007 and many more coached, umpired, officiated, volunteered and supported the game at all levels.

At the Riverton Oval Brett and Jacob’s visit was popular and getting their autographs was a serious business.
