Clare footballer Luke Dunstan, 17, has joined an exclusive group who have represented Australia in Aussie rules.

He has just returned from a nine-day trip to New Zealand as a member of the Australian Institute of Sport AFL Academy Level 1 (Under-17) squad.

The South Clare and Woodville-West Torrens player and Norwood’s James Aish were the co-captains of the team which defeated the New Zealand Hawks by 91 points.

Luke played the entire game in the mid field, rotating off the bench, and was amongst the top six best players.
