Rosie Glow has been appointed to the position of team leader at the Clare Visitor Information Centre.
With more than 20 years of experience in media, marketing and communications, most recently as manager of education and visitor services at the South Australian Museum, Rosie is making a tree change to the Clare Valley, Auburn in particular.
“I look forward to serving the Clare Valley tourism industry and building on the high standards already achieved by my colleagues to make our Visitor Centre a vibrant place of welcome for visitors to the Valley,” Rosie said.
Rosie has a background in tourism, having worked for seven years in marketing and communications, primarily as the publications manager for the South Australian Tourism Commission.
Rosie and the Visitor Centre team, together with the Mayor and councillors of the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council, will welcome tourism industry operators to winter-warming drinks at the centre on Tuesday, August 5 at 5.30pm.
The visitor centre is managed by the council under the responsibility of library services manager Heather Lymburn.
