Goyder to receive $6.3m

Regional councils have received additional State Government support to help repair massive flood damage in their districts, much of which occurred more than year ago.

State/Local Government Relations Minister Russell Wortley toured the Mid and Lower North last week with the happy task of informing councils about the windfall.

He met with Regional Council of Goyder Mayor Peter Mattey and chief executive officer John Brak in Eudunda on January 11 to present a letter informing the council they would receive $6.3m.
