Freemasons give $12,000 to skate park

28/11/2007 8:18:12 AM
Members of the Mid North Freemasons Lodge Clare have presented $12,000 to the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Youth Advisory Committee for the Clare skate park.

The money raised was from the lodge installation festivities held in September this year, coupled with a donation from the Masonic Foundation which is the charitable arm of Freemasonry in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Newly installed Worshipful Master of Mid North Lodge No 12 Worshipful Brother Grant Hovey said the donation was believed to be a worthwhile investment in the future of the district’s youth.
