The meet will launch the club’s season and provide an opportunity to welcome new and returning members.

The racing club’s fresh new committee has some exciting ideas for their upcoming events too.

Visiting media personalities and sporting celebrities will become a regular feature as well as many family activities, from children’s rides and markets and, of course, gourmet food and wine tasting.

The marquee will showcase industry representatives and local business with a gourmet lunch catered by Phil Scarles of London Hill. The lunch will include Burra Plains Beef, Saltbush Lamb and Greenslade’s Chicken served to the tables on platters to share.

Tickets for this marquee are very popular for those who enjoy watching the races in style.

There is a rump and red package available for those to enjoy in the Dunstan Pavilion by Day’s Meats or pavilion dining from $15.

The committee looks forward to welcoming their regional neighbours and Adelaide visitors for country hospitality at its finest, with all the excitement of thoroughbred races and fashion, fun and frivolity.

Kelly Nestor of Channel 9 has confirmed she will be guest MC and guest judge of Fashions of the Field at the November Clare Cup Day.

Bookings are being taken now for this meet where the club will be designing a new way of raising much needed funds - they might even auction off the Race Club Track name.
