Accident victim calls for road upgrade

09 Mar, 2011 03:26 PM
A utility collided with an oncoming grader on Main Road 45 (between Waterloo and Manoora) last week because the driver couldn’t see for dust.

Brenton Kruse hit the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council grader on Tuesday, March 1, after his visibility had been reduced to zero by dust kicked up by a truck driving in front of him.

“I’m pretty angry – I don’t believe it was the grader driver’s fault, but I believe the council need to do something about Main Road 45,” he said.
